I recently co-authored an article with Professor Lin Zhongjie that reviews “Building in China: A Century Dialogues on Modern Architecture.” Published in the first issue of Time + Architecture in 2023, the article was titled “A History Overlapped: The University of Pennsylvania and a Century of Modern Architecture in China.” This issue was skillfully edited by Tong Ming under the topic of “Autonomy and Locality: A Century of Dialogues on Chinese Modern Architecture.”
